Lauren Conrad says meeting with Heidi was forced

Lauren Conrad is on the cover of July's Cosmopolitan and she is giving them the scoop behind her last season on The Hills. 

In her interview, Lauren told Cosmopolitan that The Hills' producers were pushing her to meet Heidi throughout the taping of her last season in the show.  "What they didn't get is that I didn't want to fight with her anymore. It's hard to look at somebody who used to be your best friend and say, 'We can't be friends. Too much has happened'," Lauren said.

"I'm trying to move on, but they won't let me. And when someone keeps pushing you into the same position well...you get upset," she continues. That might have been why she chose to leave the show. 

Lauren has plenty to look forward to with her new fashion line for Kohl's and her book LA Candy hitting the stores in a few weeks. LC also has a new man in her life, actor Kyle Howard who she says she feels more sexy around "in sweatpants and with no makeup."
