So who is moving into the new Melrose Place?
Ashlee Simpson-Wentz is retaking her acting career—remember her in 7th Heaven?—as Violet, a small-town naive-looking girl who is really a sexy vixen. "I'm thrilled to be joining the cast of Melrose Place and look forward to being a part of its new generation of resident," Ashlee told MTV News.
Katie Cassidy, David Cassidy's daughter, will play Ella Flynn, a fashionable and driven publicist.
Michael Rady, from Swingtown, is a 25-year-old aspiring filmmaker called Jonah Miller.
Also rumored to appear in the show, alumna Heather Locklear as Amanda Woodward and OC star Mischa Barton.
