The election of Illinois Sen. Barack Obama for president of the United States has ignited the entrepreneurial spirit for merchandise relating to America's first African American president.
Obama memorabilia has been relatively old hat in Chicago venues during this year's presidential campaign, but Houston's Cultural Concepts, located about 2 1/2 miles from Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church, has caps, buttons and anything that says "Obama" on it.
Chances are Obama clothing will be hot sellers leading up to the inauguration ceremony on Jan. 20.
