If you're interested in following Lance Armstrong throughout the Tour de France, you'll want to bookmark www.livestrong.com, the online portal for Armstrong and health and fitness information.

Last night (July 1), the website began posting exclusive blogs, video, and photos directly from Armstrong, who will also be providing updates on how the race is going for him and interviews with his Astana teammates.

"It's an honor to be returning to the Tour de France for the 12th time this year," Armstrong said. "I'm back on my bike riding for the 28 million cancer survivors around the world today. I'm really looking forward to the challenge and having the ability, through the power of livestrong.com, to give the community and race fans across the globe an inside look at my experience."

The website will also feature behind-the-scenes video footage, pre-race reporting, and a glimpse of Astana's team meetings.  And you'll even have a say in what type of coverage you would like www.livestrong.com to provide. A daily poll will allow visitors to tell Armstrong what they would like to know more about.

Fans of Armstrong will be able to follow the seven-time Tour de France champion through all 21 stages of the race. The site is providing Livestrong Loops, a new route-tracking tool that shows a detailed map of the course. Livestrong Loops also allows viewers to find more than 20,000 courses for walking, running, cycling, and hiking near their own homes.

For a quick example of what you'll find on the site, check out this training video in which Armstrong interacts with an 8-year-old cyclist on top of the Col du Columbiere.
