Let me apologize beforehand: I'm sorry this guide is late.  Despite the delay, there are plenty of festival offerings this beautiful November weekend:

  • Sweet Apple Village Fall Fesival, Roswell.  Sweet Apple Village boasts a beautiful website.  Located at 12030 Etris Road, the Village is a retail and office space in Roswell developed by Cornerstone Development Partners.  The Fall Festival will include hay rides, face painting, crafts and more with giveaways, a farmers market and food samplings.  A food drive will be held to benefit the North Fulton Community Charities.  According to Access Atlanta, the festival will begin at 11:00 am and end at 6:00 pm
  • Pow Wow & Indian Festival, Stone Mountain Park.  November is the month to honor our nation's natives, and Stone Mountain is hosting a festival to do just that.  The festival will feature traditional dances, ensembles, traditions, and more.  Stone Mountain Park is located at Highway 78 East, Exit 8 in Stone Mountain.  (Unlike the other festivals, which are all Saturday only, this festival takes place Sunday, as well.)
  • Monticello Deer Festival, Monticello.  For all of the deer hunters and venison eaters, Monticello, Georgia is hosting its 43rd annual Deer Festival.  The festivities begin at 7:30 am with a Deer Dash and 1-mile Fun Run.  A 5K Run/Walk will begin at 8:00 am and will be followed by the official start of the festival at 9:00 am.  Expect foods and arts & crafts vendors, Venison Cook-off, a parade, and more.  Monticello is about 1.5 hours southeast of Atlanta.
