A study published recently by Allergy and Asthma Proceedings shows that 83% of allergy sufferers do not engage in amorous activities.
Tell us something we don't know!
Allergies affect a great majority of us, and are the leading cause of seasonal rhinitis. And it's even the case with those suffering from cold and flu symptoms. The lead researcher of this study, Dr. Michael S. Benninger, says:
If you can't breathe, and your nose is running, and your eyes are itchy, and you're sneezing, and you feel awful and you feel tired, you don't feel very sexy.
Really Dr. Benninger, you needed to perform a study to figure this out?
It is interesting to see researchers investigating relationship activities that are affected by daily nuisances, including sicknesses, when it seems pretty obvious to the rest of us what the answer is. But still, if you're worried that your allergies or cold/flu symptoms are affecting your sex appeal - you're not alone. We're all in the same boat.
What do do? Take care of yourself, get rid of the symptoms and then give lover boy a call. Take sick leave from your relationship or suffer the consequences!
Thanks Dr. Benninger for letting us know for sure, that there's nothing sexy about a red swollen runny nose.
