Get involved and look out for your family’s health insurance changes. President Elect Barack Obama made campaign promises to change America’s healthcare and he is already in the process of working on it. He needs your input though.
As part of his campaign President Elect Barack Obama solicited calls and emails from his supporters on what they would like to see happen with health care. He and his staff are now using this information to further analyze the health care system and changing the number of insured Americans.
If you go to Change.gov you will find information to write your statement, present your issues and propose changes to the New Health Care System. These comments and questions will be used by the administration in a number of ways. The administration would like to hold town halls and house parties as a way to encourage Americans to get involved and decide what they want to see. The people who make comments on Change.gov will probably be one of the first ones invited. In addition to attending town halls, these comments, issues and questions will be featured in ads and campaigns on You Tube.
This is a great avenue to get what you want in health care. As we saw from the election, everyone’s input counts. We can not take for granted that other people know what we want and will lobby for it. Do your part. Go to Change.gov and voice your opinions and ideas for changing the current disapproving health care system.
