Get your recipe ready for the Mac & Cheese Takedown

On November 15th, 2009 at 2:30 p.m., Great Scott, a casual bar in Allston, is hosting the Mac & Cheese Takedown. Brought to you by the originators of the Boston Chili Takedown a few months back in June, this event celebrates everyone’s favorite comfort food, macaroni and cheese. For $10, you can taste all the entrants’ unique recipes in a casual setting and weigh in on which cheesy masterpieces deserve prizes.
To enter your winning recipe, email actor and filmmaker Matt Timms, who produces the event and MCs the night. You can also just purchase your ticket to enjoy the food and party; tickets are available online at Ticket Web now. Winners of the competition will receive, courtesy of Good Tastes Kitchen of Newburyport, Massachusetts, a 6-month membership to the Mac of the Month Club, to satisfy your cheese cravings for months to come!
