Strike Out AIDS

The Wall Las Memorias Project and the Los Angeles Dodgers will host the 9th annual Strike Out AIDS Day at Dodger Stadium on Friday, September 18th, 2009. A ceremony to commemorate AIDS awareness will be held prior to start of the Major League baseball game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants. Game time is scheduled for 7:10pm with pre game ceremony to commence at 6:40pm. Dodger player Andre Ethier will serve as this year's Honorary Host.

2,000 tickets have been reserved for Strike Out AIDS supporters in the Left Field Pavilion. Limited amount of tickets are also available for the loge and reserve seating areas.

Volunteers are needed for the unveiling of the AIDS ribbon banner on the stadium field during the pre game ceremony. Every volunteer will get a free Strike Out AIDS t-shirt but each individual will need to have a game ticket in order to participate.

As a part of the Strike Out AIDS celebration, The Wall Las Memorias will also host the Home Plate Restaurant Awards on Thursday, September 17th at the Cicada restaurant in Downtown LA.

Tickets are: $25 (reserve), $18 (loge), $11 (left field pavilion)
