This weekend is the International Olympus Leather Contest, being held at the Hilton Hotel LAX, 5711 West Century Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90045.
Not only will this auspicious contest be going on, but the event coordinators have an entire weekend of incredible, and kinky, fun planned.
The fun starts Thursday night, August 6, with a Roast for Dave Rhodes, editor of The Leather Journal, and an incredible influence on the leather community.

Shuttle service to event and to hotel provided for hotel guests and weekend package holders.
Those who are in town on Thursday, August 6 will be able to attend a roast for Dave Rhodes at the Eagle LA. Discounted hotel rates will apply that night.
Friday night (8-10pm) brings Caligula’s Playground, Part I, with a meet and greet spaghetti buffet and celebrity auction sponsored by Dr. Lawrence Burden. After, there is a play party at Passive Arts Studio.
Also, Friday-Sunday there will be workshops going on in the Lower Lobby of the Hilton Hotel LAX, teaching everything from sensuality, building a better D/s relationship and seduction in play, to pony play training techniques, boot blacking, and orgasm control. There are also live stage performances and a fantastic marketplace, filled with vendors selling some very interesting wares.
Saturday, in the Los Angeles Ballroom , the International Olympus Leather Contest gets underway, with a cocktail reception at 7pm, and the contest beginning at 8pm. There are male and female contestants, vying for the Mr. and Ms Olympus Leather titles. Following the contest is Caligula’s Playground Part II, featuring another play party at Passive Arts Studios.
Sunday, also in the Los Angeles Ballroom, author and renowned speaker Jay Wiseman will be the Keynote Speaker during the Victory Brunch, 1030am-12pm.
This is a significant event in the leather and kink communities, a good time to meet new friends and get re-acquainted with old ones. Be safe and enjoy.
