If you love romance novels and haven’t read any of the books in the Love Finds You series, you’re in for a treat. I’ve read two, one an historical romance and the other a contemporary. Both were charming, sweet, and fun- not your typical romance.

In Humble, Texas, Trudie is approaching her thirtieth birthday and no romantic prospects on the horizon. Her elegant sister gives her a makeover for a birthday present and a blind date to show off the “new” Trudie. Sparks fly between Trudy and her blind date, the only problem is Trudie’s sister realizes she’s in love with the blind date as well.

I enjoyed the book. It's filled with interesting characters and intriquing subplots. Love Finds You in Humble, Texas is light-hearted but with just enough angst to keep you reading. It’s filled with characters you wish you were friends with.

Definitely a pleasurable respite from the day’s toils and troubles.
