Nate Perry, a 6 foot 3, 190-pound shooting guard at Hempfield Area High School (Landisville, PA) commited to Appalachian State today. Perry, who played for the AAU team "BSA Nike Elite", also held an offer from Coastal Carolina.

A couple of wide receiver teammates from Bishop McDevitt High School (Harrisburg, PA) verbally agreed to go to different schools today.  Salath Williams, a 6 foot 3, 180-pounder commited to Pittsburgh while his teammate, a 6 foot 3, 185-pounder named Jeremy Cornelius accepted a scholarship to play football at Purdue. Both held offers from Purdue, Pittsburgh, Iowa and Syracuse while Williams managed to get a Rutgers offer and Cornelius snagged one from UConn.

Andrew Cerett, a 6 foot 5, 240 pound (No, that's not a typo.) punter at Huntingdon Area Senior High School (Huntingdon, PA), commited to Temple over the weekend. Cerett, who also played defensive tackle, was ranked as the 5th best punting prospect in the 2010 class by ProKicker.com At a 2008 Ray Guy Academy Camp, Cerett posted the longest hang time ever in the Northeast region. I interviewed Cerett for OwlScoop.com, and the article can be found here.

C.J Jones, a 5 foot 11, 165 pound cornerback at Alexis I Dupont HS (Wilmington, DE) visited Boston College over the weekend and left incredibly impressed. According to Tom Matthews at EagleAction.com, BC "set the standard" for Jones' recruitment. Jones is ranked as the best prospect in Delaware by ESPN.com Jones also holds offers from Duke, Louisville, Rutgers and Temple.
