The above cartoon, published Wednesday in The Oklahoman newspaper, has come under criticism from a variety of groups and individuals.  The image of a Latina being used as a piñata is troubling in and of itself, but given its similarity to a lynching scene and the out of control rhetoric coming from people like Rush Limbaugh, the cartoon is not only troubling but outright dangerous.

If you think that making such a connection between rhetoric, images and actions is hyperbole, perhaps you've missed this week's story surrounding the murder of Dr. Tiller.

I'm Cliff, and on that "note", I'm outta here!
