Police in Phoenix have arrested 61-year-old Keith King and his 38-year-old wife Stacy Lynne Legg-King and charged them with the theft of nearly 1,000 suitcases and bags from the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Clothing, medical equipment and all kinds of other items were found stacked floor to ceiling at the couple's home in Waddell, Arizona. In fact, the clothing alone took up entire rooms at their home. Additionally, about 25 guns were confiscated.

Booked on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property, the arrest of the couple is part of an ongoing airport burglary investigation. It is quite simple these days to steal luggage from airports as there are no longer staff employed to match claim checks to items. This is true not only in Phoenix, but at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport and most other airports across the country.

Phoenix airport surveillance video shows Keith King parking in the airport garage and going into the terminal to steal luggage. Neighbors also advised police that they had seeb a trailer full of items being brought to the King's home suspiciously in the middle of the night. The couple is also known for having frequent garage sales and often selling luggage and other merchandise.

Because identification has been stripped from the bags, it will be nearly impossible to get lost items back to its owners. Most of the bags recovered were empty, making it extremely difficult to determine who the owner may have been. Laptops, cameras, video games and even GPS devices were found in quantity at the King's home.
