Susanna Foo says good-bye to her Walnut St. location.

Susanna Foo Chinese Cuisine, one of Philadelphia's most beloved and well known restaurants, announced today that its doors will close on June 13th. Foo will offer a 20% off coupon to patrons who dine here, to be used on a future visit to her Radnor restaurant, Susanna Foo Gourmet Kitchen.

The high-end Walnut Street eatery has garnered impressive reviews for the past 22 years, with its original take on Asian fusion. Foo is the recipient of a James Beard award, Food & Wine's "Best New Chef" and the 2006 Silver Spoon honor from Food Arts among countless others. Additionally, her restaurants have repeatedly received 4 bells from Inquirer's Craig LaBan. Yet another victim of the economy, Chinese Cuisine joins the ranks of restaurants like Brasserie Perrier.
