She's crazy! He's acting nuts! Common phrases that rarely indicate a psychological issue but rather a phrase more indicative of someone feeling neglected.  But this can be easily fixed:

Commit to committing and keep from being committed!

Sound like a Dr. Suess riddle? Well it's quite simple. You know that there will always be a better looking, smarter, better sculpted, more financially sound person around the corner waiting to temp you at your lowest point.  We all like attention (some more than others) but you have a committment to the one you're with.  Stick to it.  Commit to committing.

See, it is very easy to cheat and use that silly phrase "what they don't know won't hurt them" but that's not true in this age of disease and emotionally unstable individuals.  Don't ever think you are above the fray of having a momentary lapse of judgement with an instrument in your hand.  We all have our limits and if you act on that lapse, you'll soon be in the world of being "committed".  Commit to committing.

A marriage that last forever and seems so happy is not by accident. You can't even say that the marriage works because the couple is "in love" or that the sex is off the "sheheezy". The marriage works and lasts because the two individuals understood what it meant to commit to committing.  That means that no matter what happens in the relationship, they are not going to quit.  They have decided to keep both their hearts and finances happy.

Yes, I said finances.  Look, one of the quickest ways to go broke is getting divorced or getting out of a long term relationship.  Just think of all the items you've both acquired over the years and your time invested.  If you bolt now, you'll have to rebuild everything from the ground up including rebuilding another relationship.  Time is money.  Commit to committing.

And your mental health?  Good grief.  Do you know how much lying does to your mental health?  You have to create one lie to cover up another.  Then you need to create notes in order to remember the conversations between your sweetie and the other.  Your behavior starts to mimic a shady character and you start sounding like a true idiot to those around you.  Sleep may get compromised because you are burning the candle at both ends and neither of the parties are satisfied.   Tired, frustrated, and lying will make you feel like a short stay in a padded cell could be a vacation.

Think of your sweetie right now:

He is doing everything to make you smile and he is the reason your heart flutters when he comes near you.

or

She makes you want to be a better person and she thinks of you before she thinks of herself and even puts up with your funky mood swings.

You both are at the top of your game when you put your heads together.  Commit to committing.

Darlings, it doesn't get any better than this. Remember, that the fine-looking man/woman who struts in your path is nothing more than a test of your wills.  Everybody wins at "commit to commiting"!

Have fun and stay put!

P.S.  Keep in mind I am only speaking about relationships where there is no abuse of any kind i.e. verbal, monetary, physical, etc...
