Leighton Meester was spotted lunching at Pastis
Leighton Meester, of The CW's Gossip Girl, was spotted at Pastis lunching with an unidentified male. The busy Parisian brasserie is a fantastic spot for a romantic occasion or an afternoon chat, so who knows the purpose of the meeting.
Pastis's kitchen is run by executive chefs Lee Hanson and Riad Nasr, who met while serving as sous-chefs at the famious Daniel. See below to watch a video of the hot spot done in 2007.
Pastis, located in the Meatpacking District (at 9 Ninth Ave), is a 2009 Michelin Guide recommended dining experience. The restaurant was Keith McNally's highly anticipated follow-up to Balthazar. Since then Ketih has opening Schiler's Liquor Bar and Morandi.
The front cafe of Pastis is warmly lit and gets so crowded with walk-ins that the bar is usually packed to capacity with guests waiting to dine.
