
Three fun and interesting activities are available for adults and children Monday evening, Oct. 26, in the Upper Keys. A free Halloween family boat ride from 6-9 p.m. through haunted mangrove tunnels is on tap at Robbie’s Marina, mile marker 77 bayside, in Islamorada.
A free lecture on the industries of yesteryear in the Florida Keys begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Island Community Church auditorium, mile marker 83 bayside. Historian and archaeologist Irving Eyster will tell stories and share a slide show of wreckers, the salt industry, tobacco factories in Key West, pineapple and coconut farming, turtle and sponge harvesting.
Also, there is an interactive astrology lecture from 7-9 p.m. called “Destiny, the North node and you” at Out of the Blue Emporium, mile marker 103 bayside. Rachel Tomko said participants will learn information on their life purpose.
