In the almanac of weird holidays (and just in time for a laugh on another overcast Rochester morning), today is National Leave Work Early Day, the unofficial day when you can just get up and go home. Or wherever else it is you might like to be, instead of at work.
Since most employers require a note to be excused from work, Rusty George has provided his Random Excuse Generator. My excuse? "I need to leave work early because my you-know-what might leak." Fortunately, I work at home, so if my you-know-what leaks, I'm probably prepared to handle it.
