A clerk at a check cashing business took an unusual step when she prayed with the man who was robbing her,

According to FoxNews, when the gunman came around the counter, the clerk started crying and talking about God, prompting the gunman to ask for prayer for his child.

The gunman apparently spent about 10 minutes kneeling in prayer before getting a hug from the clerk and then fleeing with the clerk's cell phone and $20 from the cash register.

That was a very courageous and compassionate move on the part of the clerk, and let's hope that her faith will inspire the gunman to rethink his choices.
