Scarlett Johnasson and Pete Yorn "Relator"
The multi-talented Johansson just released a duet album with Pete Yorn, who described Johansson’s voice as “smoky and quirky” in a recent Rolling Stone interview.
It all started with a text message. Pete Yorn woke up from a nap and felt the need to text Johansson and ask her if she would work on an album with him. Her response, “Let’s do this thing.”
And the result is a remarkable album titled Break Up, in which the two act out the roles of a couple on the rocks.
Johansson previously released a solo album entitled Anywhere I Lay My Head, which is a compilation of Tom Waits cover songs.
At 25 years of age, she has already accomplished a lot. Not only is she a successful actress who has worked with director Woody Allen three times already (Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Scoop, Match Point), but now she is a successful singer whose most recent single with Yorn (“Relator”) has even appeared on MTV.
