With its quaint boardwalk, carnival games, excellent restaurants, and sandy shores, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware offers summertime fun for singles, couples, and families alike.  Often, the most difficult part of a long weekend in Rehoboth is finding a place to stay.  This popular beach destination lies just three hours from Washington, DC, and hotels book up quickly.  Fortunately, there are many different lodging options to choose from.

Hotel Rehoboth - 247 Rehoboth Avenue - This boutique hotel, recently featured by Daily Candy, offers many desireable amenities including free Wi-Fi, a free beach shuttle, complimentary beach chairs and towels, nightly turndown service, and an evening wine and cheese reception.  The guestrooms are elegantly decorated in crisp white and sea blue, and the granite bathrooms have delightful ocean accents.  Select guestrooms have balconies or fireplaces.  Enjoy the luxury of a fireplace and a grand piano in the lobby, or lounge by the outdoor pool.  Weekend rates average $350/night, or travel on a weekday for just $270/night.

The Avenue Inn and Spa - 33 Wilmington Avenue - Enjoy courteous service at the Avenue Inn and Spa, which offers an indoor heated pool, an outdoor hot tub, a steam room, a sauna, and free Wi-Fi just one block from the beach.  The rooms are appointed in homey reds and creams, and some rooms have fireplaces or balconies available.  During peak season, room prices range from $185/night for a king room with sofa to $330/night for a luxury jacuzzi suite.

The Delaware Inn - 55 Delaware Avenue - Couples may prefer the luxurious European style of the Delaware Inn Bed and Breakfast, which offers seven guestrooms ranging from $180 to $500/night (two night minimum).  Each room features complimentary bottled water and bathrobes, and the Inn offers beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, and even bicycles for their guests.  Enjoy breakfast quiches and fruit parfaits in the morning, followed by a free yoga class taught by innkeeper Sharon (upon request).  After a day at the beach, nibble on tea and cookies while enjoying ocean breezes on the porch.  Through July 31, stay two weekday nights and receive $50 off, or stay three weekday nights for $100 off - call 1-800-246-5244 for reservations.

Mann & Sons Vacation Rentals - 19606 Coastal Highway - Large families or groups of singles may want to opt for one of the many vacation rentals along Rehoboth Beach.  Local rental agency Mann and Sons offers many of the areas most popular beach rentals, including the four bedroom, three bath beachside home at 52 Maryland Avenue.  Entertain up to ten people in the outdoor pool and hot tub, or enjoy free Wi-Fi in one of the colorful modern bedrooms.  Cook dinner in the luxury kitchen and enjoy it around the fireplace.  Another benefit of renting a home is the availability of a washer and dryer.  Weekly rates at 52 Maryland Avenue range from $4500 to $6500, with a $500 security deposit.  See the full listing of vacation homes at the Mann and Sons website, or check VRBO or Homeaway for additional rental options.
