Chet Faliszek, Valve's project leader of the Left 4 Dead series recently commented that the PS3 is not suitable for Left 4 Dead 2. To put it directly, he said that the Xbox 360's community is "head and shoulders above the PS3." Moreover, he made a rather ambiguous statement regarding the community that "it's all about playing with your friends." This is a different ball game than when they said they were "sweating bullets over obscure architectural decisions."
In a short time, many players have already been responding to this peculiar statement. Some have criticized that Valve for a long time did not support the Playstation 3 platform, with the exception of the poorly performing Orange Box. Valve, in fact, at the beginning predicted that the Playstation 3 was a huge mistake. So clearly Valve had not, and still does not praise the PS3, but nevertheless, people are curious about the flood of dissimilar answers to this question.
It's safe to say that expecting that the Valve's relationship to improve is a hard thing to believe. Even after the Playsation 3's big re-entry this quarter, they still haven't shifted their focus. Between this disconcerting issue and the PC community's complications with Modern Warfare 2, there's a lot of taking sides.
