Let’s start with the hottest team in the NFL:
New Orleans Saints. The Saints will face the New York Giants on Sunday, their most formidable opponent to date. They may have to do it without the following: Running back Mike Bell and Defensive Lineman Kendrick Clancy with knee injuries; Tight End Darnell Dinkins and Wide Receiver Rod Harper with foot injuries and finally Defensive Back Malcom Jenkins with an ankle injury.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Running Back Willie Parker is questionable for Sunday’s game versus Cleveland, and Defensive Lineman Aaron Smith is doubtful due to a shoulder injury.
San Diego Chargers: The Chargers will face Denver and may be without Defensive Linemen Antwan Applewhite (hamstring injury) and Travis Johnson (groin injury).
St. Louis Rams: The Rams are looking very thin at the Quarterback position having lost Marc Bulger previously and now with Kyle Boller questionable with a head injury. They will take on Jacksonville in Week 6.
Tennessee Titans: The Titans will take on New England in Week 6 minus Defensive Back Nick Harper who will miss due to an arm injury and possibly without Tight End Craig Stevens who is questionable due to a concussion.
Chicago Bears: The Bears return to play in Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons with the following players currently listed as questionable: Wide Receiver Devon Hester (neck injury), Linebacker Hunter Hillenmeyer (rib injury), Defensive Lineman Israel Idonije (knee injury), Wide Receiver Johnny Knox (leg injury) and Linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa (knee injury) . Running Back Adrian Peterson is listed as out with a knee injury.
Buffalo Bills: The Bills’ problems continue to mount and Week 5 was not forgiving. Two players, Linebackers Marcus Buggs and Kawika Mitchell suffered season-ending knee injuries and will have to undergo surgery.
