The weather is almost too chilly for a morning in the park. So where can you take your kids to let them run around for free? Try the play area at Fair Oaks Mall.

The Looney Tunes-themed play area has padded carpeting and semi-soft climbing toys.  There is ample space to run and play as well. One long comfortable booth lines the perimeter, a great place for parents to sit and watch their youngsters.

The play area is not too hard to find . . . if you know where you’re going. It is located on the first floor immediately in front of JCPenney, between Starbucks and Talbots.

The closest bathrooms are on the second floor of JCPenney, but mall staff will steer you toward the public bathrooms near Macy’s. When you leave the play area, take a right at the elevators. You will see a sign for the restrooms on the left.

Tip: Go before the stores open. The mall’s doors are unlocked at 6:30am for walkers.
