Bubbie's.

In this economy, what’s a father ousted from the corporate world with a knack for macking the knife in a kitchen, married to a high school teacher with a less than modest salary to do, but open a deli. Bubbie’s (pronounced Bub-bees) Brown Bag Café's menu in Seminole, Florida has brought the tradition of mom’s brown-bagged lunches back by popular demand.

The café, named for the term of endearment the owners’ children call their maternal grandmother, is the best of the newest in Tampa Bay’s freshest sandwiches, salads, and soups. Bubbie’s is tucked away in a plaza on Seminole Boulevard.

The food is modestly priced and named (after their family), and the café currently holds moderate hours anticipating the influx of consumers who will be won over by the fresh crisp greens coupled with top deli meats, including all Certified Angus Beef, cut to order.

Each dinning experience at Bubbie’s is like visiting for the very first time, every time. The service is catering! I order the Amie’s Best: turkey breast with American cheese on whatever bread you like, topped with the best homemade Russian sauce (seriously, they should consider bottling it) all tucked away in a brown paper bag.
