Right in the heart of Charleston and Saint Albans, a disharmonious melody and  head banging beat is ringing out. It persists in the consciousness way after the first passing listen. This riveting sound is coming from the livest metal band in the area, Linework.

This truly tattooed band's name comes from the outlining of tattoos, which is the profession of the guitarist. In route of true rebellion, this group first came together in a member's garage to annoy the neighbors. They decided the rocking must continue. Therefore, they have continued to give their music to the listening public in Chemical Valley (a drive through Kanawha County and one could figure the origins of this area nickname). This is where they are from and is the perfect personification of their grungy alternative sound.

Their fans have enjoyed such tracks as Assault Charges and Burn the Bridges. Linework's music can be heard at www.myspace.com/linework and purchased at http://www.mymusicsite.com/LineWork. Live shows will be coming up in Huntington (July 3, Sept. 29) and Bluefield (Aug.22).

Don't take this group's rough vocals as harsh sentiments. They are gracious enough to honor each band in which they share the stage and each venue they perform. Their consideration and talent has garnered them many friends as well as fans. One look at the following videos and one could figure out why Linework leaves listeners permanently marked.
