Celebrating its 10-year anniversary, Take Your Dog to Work Day® is designed to celebrate the great companion’s dog make and to promote pet adoption. Presented by BringPetsHome.org and FetchDog.com, Pet Sitters International (PSI) invites you to sign up and register your event at www.takeyourdog.com.
They provide you with how-to guides on how to get involved and what to do that day in order to make it a complete success.
If your office is closed on Friday or if there are many cat parents where you work, you can celebrate PSI’s Bring Your Pet to Work Week™ which is ongoing from June 22-June 26.
You may be thinking, ‘there’s no way my employer will allow this!’ Show them the how-to guide which explains the benefits or, as suggested by PSI, see if you can do a fundraiser for a local shelter and have people bring in pictures of their furry loved one’s.
Having a one day special event at your business or pet agency not only boosts company moral, but it can help spread awareness for dogs that deserve a loving home. You can even enter for a chance to be named Fetchdog’s ‘Top 10 Dog Friendly Companies’ – keep in mind, since this is an international campaign, it will create awareness for your company since you will be listed on the TakeYourDog.com website and, as a participant, possibly be featured by other media outlets.
