     Sunfish Fish and Chips, Alki

Love fish n chips? Head out to Alki for a picnic. Before you find a relaxing spot, step into Sunfish Fish & Chips. The fish is amazing and the experience invigorating!

Before you order, consider what it is you love. Is it the fish and chips? Or is it just the fish? Though the fries are the standard side gather up your will power and ask for coleslaw instead! It won’t be such a grease bomb you’re about to devour. You even have the option of ordering just the fish if you like.

The 2-piece fish, fried in 100% canola oil, combined with coleslaw is only about 400 calories.

How many times after you’ve eaten fish n chips have you left stuffed and feeling regret? The calorie difference is only slim when you order the slaw instead of the fries, about 75, but how will you feel when you’re done eating? Like going for a walk along the strip or walking to the car for a nap? Consider the coleslaw as an investment. You get more bang out of your buck. You save 75 calories and you burn a couple hundred more going for a two-mile walk. Skip the chowder and you’ll save another 300-500 calories. Hit the right balance of food, sun, and exercise and life is good.

Take along some cherries or grapes and you’re in for more of a treat.
