Located at 1716 "I" St. NW, Bottom Line gets a lot of the downtown crowd leaving work. It's an ideal location to grab a drink before hopping on the subway and heading home.  They host special events such as Jose Cuervo and Grand Marnier tasting events.  The Bottom Line also supports causes like the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  Next to the drink specials, the warm, festive atmosphere is the bars best feature.

As to the food,  don't have any expectations on getting a gourmet meal.  It is standard bar fare with burgers as the specialty of the house. Allegedly, they are hand pattied beef that will be cooked to order. On a recent visit,  medium (warm pink center) meant well done.  It was served with cold fries which the server replaced with hot, fresh ones a few minutes later.  While filling, the meal would not win any awards.

Go for the drink specials, stay for the game, but eat before you arrive.
