Did you know that around 5% of the Boulder County population is Jewish? Join them at the Boulder Jewish Festival, their one-day celebration of Jewish culture this Sunday, June 7th from 11 am to 5 pm, Boulder Courthouse Lawn and Pearl Street Mall (from 1200 to 1500 Pearl).

The Boulder Jewish Festival  is free to attend and features music, ethnic food, fine art and Judaica, as well as community information booths and activities for all ages.

2009 is the 15th Anniversary of the Boulder Jewish Festival and they are proud to be included in the City of Boulder’s 150th Year Celebration.

The Boulder Jewish Festival was created in 1995 by two women, Susan Kramer and Cathy Adler. Both Kramer and Adler came from cities that had Jewish festivals, and they asked, “Why not here?”

15 years later, the Boulder Jewish Festival is now the largest single-day independent event held at the Courthouse Lawn & Pearl Street Mall site, the only Jewish Festival in Colorado, and one of the longest-running Jewish Festivals in the US.  This event is entirely planned and produced by a dedicated team of volunteers who spend approximately 18 months planning each Festival.  The plans for entertainment continue to be unique from year to year to keep the festival fresh and inviting.
