Free summer concert series in Fishtown

Historic Penn Treaty Park, located on the waterfront in Fishtown, will host a free summer concert series in July and August called Waterfront Wednesdays. Sponsored by Philebrity, the concerts will take place each Wednesday night starting July 15th through August 19th, from 7:00pm-9:00pm. So far only the dates and lineup have been announced but more information will follow. In addition to being free, the concert series gives music lovers the chance to check out some Philly-based bands representing a variety of musical genres against the scenic backdrop of the Ben Franklin Bridge, Delaware River and Philadelphia skyline.

July 15: Charanga (with pre-concert salsa lessons)
July 22: John Clark Little Big Band
July 29: Jack Rose & The Black Twig Pickers; Watery Love
August 5: War on Drugs; Hunter Gatherer
August 12: Porkroll Project; Third Degree
August 19: Espers; The Oubliette Ensemble
