Rock Art Show - (Bob Masse)

     The fourth annual "Rock Art Show" will be rocking the Pembroke Mall August 21st- 23rd from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, Friday and Saturday, and from noon to 6:00 pm on Sunday.

     The Rock Art Show presents a rare collection of photographs, concert posters, album art, musician artwork, lithographs, song lyrics, gold records, and other original artwork. The showcase features the work of musicians such as Paul McCartney, Micky Dolenz, Jerry Garcia, John Entwistle (The Who), Jimi Hendrix, Ron Wood (Rolling Stones), Bob Dylan, Carlos Santana, David Bowie, Robby Krieger (The Doors), Tony Bennett, Jon Anderson (Yes), John Lennon, Ringo Starr, U2, AC/DC, etc.

    The display includes rock photographs of bands such as The Eagles, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Bruce Springsteen and more. Animator Ron Campbell, famous for his role in directing the legendary Beatles cartoon series,and animating the Beatles film Yellow Submarine in the 1960's will be at the show all weekend. Campbell will not only be selling his original Beatles paintings, he will be giving live painting demonstrations. Also making a guest appearance is nationally recognized concert poster designer Scotty C., known for designing posters, CD covers, calenders, and fashion accessories sold all over the world featuring these musicians and more: Led Zeppelin, Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Black Sabbath, David Bowie, The Doors, Pearl Jam, Kiss, and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
