Get Paid to Chat

If you consider yourself an expert on any topic, you can get paid to chat with clients who need your help. There are numerous companies which will help you get in touch with others who are willing to pay for your knowledge. Most of these companies allow you to set your own per-minute rates, and take a small portion of the revenue for maintenance and hosting of your own site. They offer all the tools you need to begin earning money for your opinions and advice.

1.)   LivePerson.comAccording to the website, LivePerson is a unique service that matches people who have questions with people who are qualified to answer them. Live Chat and email sessions are available mediums for dealing with clients. Topics range from technology and business to health, the arts, and spirituality. You are paid based upon a per-minute rate of your choosing. LivePerson will take a small portion of the revenue you earn. View the LivePerson Expert Terms and Conditions for more information. You’ll be paid monthly via check or PayPal once you accrue at least $50.00. Visit the website to apply to become an expert.

2.)   BitWine.com – BitWine is another “expert answers” website which will pay you to chat with clients who need advice on a myriad of subjects. They will accept “people with expertise or talent in any field, which is to say, anyone!” Some networks will require professional credentials, but others are open to most anyone. Instant messaging, phone calls, and Skype are available mediums for dealing with clients. You can choose your own per-minute rate, of which BitWine takes a 20 percent commission. You’ll be paid via PayPal immediately after the session with a client has ended – no waiting for payment! Visit the BitWine Advisor Topics for more information on becoming an advisor, or sign-up on the website.

3.)   weRlive.com – According to the website, “when you become a VideoChat Expert for weRlive, people see you and talk to you live via the easy-to-use weRlive VideoChat service. You can make tons of extra cash from the comfort of your home!” You will get paid to chat based on a percentage of the per-minute rate your customers pay. Whatever they pay, you earn 50 percent and the website takes the other half. Your per-minute rate depends upon your overall rating, with the lowest rating receiving $0.98 per minute, and the highest rating receiving up to $9.80 per minute. Payment is made via check or ePassporte twice per month once minimum payout of $50 is reached. Visit the expert FAQ for more information, or sign-up here.

4.)   Keen.com – Keen is another website that will put you in contact with people who want your advice. The difference here is that you’ll get paid to chat on the telephone as opposed to email or instant messaging. According to the website, you can “answer the phone and make money for the advice you give.” You can set your own per-minute rate and you earn 62 percent of this amount. Keen takes 38 percent for “connection charges.” Pay is monthly via check, direct deposit, or Express Pay. Visit the website to find out more about how keen works and sign-up to become an advisor.

5.)   JustAnswer.com – This site is a little different than those listed above. You don’t get paid to chat in real time, but to answer questions left by those in need of answers. According to the website,” We are looking to grow the community of high quality Experts on JustAnswer.com. Answer questions on your own time and get paid by JustAnswer’s rapidly growing user base of over 20 million and counting.” Topics include legal, health, medical, cars, pets, taxes, computers and electronics, home improvement, home work, and general. New experts and those with less than four accepted answers earn 25 percent of what clients pay for the answers. Above average experts earn 50 percent. Once $20 is accrued, you’ll be paid on the fourth day of the following month. Visit the website to learn more about becoming an expert.
