2nd Annual Open Artists with Open Arms event Pop Goes the World will be held on Wednesday, November 11 at the Avalon Theater.
The event will benefit LifeWorks, a program of the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center that helps LGBTQ youth achieve their personal and professional goals through mentoring.
This Pop Goes the World extravaganza is an effervescent concert-style event that brings together the industry's most accomplished talent with those that are about to "pop".
This year’s event, hosted by Ugly Betty’s Alec Mapa, includes confirmed collaborators: American Idol alum beat-boxing sensation Blake Lewis, pop singer JoJo, choreographer Tony Testa, who most recently associate choreographed the late Michael Jackson’s world tour and is currently choreographing Kylie Minogue’s tour; director and performer Kevin Stea; musical artist Guy B, singer/producer Kyle Puccia; original member of the Pussycat Dolls Carmit Bachar; Fanny Pack, Tigarah and Kelly King.
LGBT youth and their allies under 21 years old are admitted free of charge to enjoy the youth lounge and balcony.
The event has general admission for $25.00 and VIP which includes a hosted bar and gift bag for $75.00.
