While fresh veggies are delightful on their own, pairing them with a nice condiment can bring out some of the best qualities in these crisp crunchy snacks. This Mediterranean Style yogurt dip is a fantastic companion for fresh vegetables of all types. However, the creamy, tangy and refreshing dip works especially well with sliced bell peppers, Persian cucumbers and cherry tomatoes. This thick dip also makes an excellent spread on fresh pita bread, sandwiches and crackers.

Mediterranean style yogurt dip

Ingredients

2 ½ cups Labne (Mediterranean cheese style yogurt)
The juice of 3 fresh lemons
½ cup fresh chives
¾ cup fresh dill
¼ cup fresh mint
3 cloves garlic
2 tablespoon chopped red onion
Salt and pepper to taste.

Method of Preparation

Place all ingredients except for the Labne into a food processor and blend until roughly chopped. Next add the yogurt and blend until all ingredients are dispersed evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste and enjoy!
