Let's continue with our breakfast theme.  It's the most important meal of the day!  And that means it should count.

Does Entenmann's crumb coffee cake count?  Well, not for a nutritional breakfast, but for a calorie-laden sugary treat that will keep you satisfied for about 20 minutes?  Oh yes.  It counts.

One-sixth of a crumb coffee cake...just a little square portion... has 250 calories, according to Calorie Count

That's two and a half miles of running, just to get you back to square one.

Skip it and hit the oatmeal instead.  It will stay with you longer, releasing energy into your system all morning.

Join me again next Thursday for another Burn it to Earn it feature.  In the meantime, keep running Detroit Runners!
