
The season premier of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” begins on June 23rd, with a new host. For the past three seasons we have had behind the scenes commentary from Jerry Springer. Moving into the forth season Nick Cannon will replace Springer as the host of the show. People magazine cited Nick Cannon as one of the "Top Ten Most Successful Young People in Hollywood."
Cannon, 28 is a San Diego native is a successful, entertainer in: film, comedy, music, writer and executive producer of his own hit TV shows.
“Cannon headed for Hollywood at age 15 and landed gigs at world-renowned comedy venues, including the Improv, the Laugh Factory and the Comedy Store. Cannon went on to share the stage with the likes of Chris Tucker, Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock before landing his first television gig as a standup audience warm-up for the long-running Nickelodeon hit show "All That." Producers quickly recognized Cannon's calling was in front of the camera and he became a regular on the show as well as a writer, making him the youngest staff writer in television history at the age of 17. In 2002, Cannon hit the big time along side Will Smith in "Men in Black II" he also had a leading role in the film, "Drumline." During the same year he released his self-titled debut album.

Nick Cannon's romantic life has had some tribulations; he has been linked to singer and actress Christina Milian, and socialite Kim Kardashian. Cannon began dating Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks in February 2007 and six weeks later on May 7, 2007, Cannon proposed to Ebanks on the Times Square jumbotron. The couple called off their engagement five months later in October 2007. Nick then married Maria Carey on April 30, 2008 at her estate on the ultra private Bahamian island of Windermere.
