The glamorous lives of “The Real Housewives of NYC” is coming to a dramatic season two closure with the housewives bringing their talents together to host a fundraiser for “People Reaching Out's, Friends Helping Friends”, benefit for arthritis, on Tuesday, October 21st at Hudson Terrace in New York City. Housewife Jill Zarin’s teenage daughter Allyson and stepson Jonathan both suffer from arthritis, which made this charity event especially meaningful to Jill and her husband Bobby Zarin.
The event however did not go off without the usual Housewife drama. As Jill and Ramona set up the space for charity event, they objected to the fact that Bethenny — who brought in all the free liquor for the big event — had way too much signage up promoting her “Skinnygirl” cocktails behind the bar. They went ahead had most of the signage pulled down before Bethenny’s arrival. Bethenny walked in and saw her one big Alex-designed logo behind the bar and was happy, but things did start to get heated once she heard how all the liquor company’s logos were taken down and that Jill and Ramona were talking about her behind her back. Bethenny confronted Jill about it in the middle of the event. “Just say I’m sorry and we’ll be done!” Bethenny proclaimed. Jill’s response? “Leave.” However, the relationship between Jill and Bethenny was patched up by the end of the event, when Bethenny took Jill aside and calmed her down before the start of the live auction.
Many large items were auctioned off including a private photo shoot with Housewife Kelly’s ex, however there has been some speculation over this donation and it’s validly in recent weeks. In the end the Housewives of NYC pulled in lots of donations, money and exposure for, “Friends Helping Friends”, benefit for arthritis.
