Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey reveal cover of ‘O’ magazine December issue

‘American Idol’s’ new judge Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey were in Chicago on Friday signing about 1,000 copies of the December issue of “O” magazine which hits news stands on November 12th. The theme of the December issue of “O” magazine is “Get Your Glow On!”

The talk about Oprah and Ellen posing together for a cover photo started in early January when Ellen was making a joke about trying to be on the cover of "O." Ellen even created mock covers trying to show what it would look like if she actually made it onto the cover.

On March 20th, Oprah called up Ellen while she was filming her show and after months of joking by Ellen invited her to be the second person, aside from our first lady Michelle Obama to share the cover with her. The two finally got together and shot two covers one that will be sent out to subscribers and one for the news stands.

Ellen DeGeneres attempting to build up fans anticipation for the big reveal of the cover dressed up as “O” magazine for her Halloween episode on October 30th.

"When Ellen arrived at the photo shoot for our cover, I didn't have to ask her how she was doing: it showed on her face," Oprah stated to reporters. "She radiated the kind of peace and satisfaction that comes only when you're living at your highest potential."

Ellen will also be appearing on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” on Monday November 9th to talk about life, love and her new job as a judge on “American Idol.”
