California Cryobank is one of the leading sperm banks in the country; however they have added a twist to the way women and men choose their sperm donors. The California Cryobank now provides a look-a-like section featuring people, such as Jon Gosselin, Bruce Jenner, or other famous celebrities, putting a look-a-like face to the sperm donor.

While the sperm is not actually from the celebrities the California Cryobank feels putting a face on the donated sperm, instead of women and men choosing from a written list of varying features, makes the decision of choosing sperm easier.

The California Cryobank states, “Researched and selected from the limitless expanses of the internet, CCB Donor Look-a-Likes can be actors, athletes, musicians, or anyone else famous enough to be found on the web.”

The sperm bank obviously cannot guarantee your child will look exactly like the celebrity look-a-like sperm chosen, as they state, “No celebrity is meant as an exact match for any donor, nor should you assume that your future children will look like any celebrity listed.” Each donor in the celebrity look-a-likes section also has 2-3 other celebrities on their page which the sperm donor also resembles.

Women and men can choose from hundreds of celebrity look-a-like sperm donors with the click of a mouse and order a vial of sperm ranging in price from $280 to $590 dollars per vial depending on how the sperm is to be inseminated. Overnight and international delivery is also available for an additional cost.

What do you think about the California Cryobank’s look-a-like feature? If you are planning on using a sperm donor would you use the celebrity look-a-like feature? Leave a comment below let us know how you feel about this topic!
