Mother Nature's color palette -- Vermont-style

Tuesday is the official first day of Autumn. And while there's a lot to be said about living in Texas, the Lone Star State can't quite measure up to other parts of the country when it comes to viewing one of Mother Nature's most breathtaking sights: fall foliage.

Vermont is one of the prime spots in America to see a stunning tapestry of golds, reds, browns, reds and more. And Country Walkers has the intinerary to make a walking tour truly memorable. Country Walkers has 30 years of experience under its belt, and it offers tours all across the globe. How good is Country Walkers? Great enough to be ranked as the No. 5 Top Tour Operator in the entire world by Travel + Lesiure magazine.

For this fall, Country Walkers reports that a knowledgeable Vermont state forester is predicting fall foliage that will be second to none: “We do expect the rains of this summer have been very good for our trees … based on science and experience to expect that it’s shaping up to be an exception foliage season”.

Each Country Walkers tour is led by local guides who are experts in each region and offers stunning scenery, exceptional food and accommodations, and authentic, behind-the-scenes experiences that cannot be had through any other means of travel. And you can’t beat the exercise!

According to CW, its Vermont fall foliage tour includes: "Over 700 miles of walking and hiking trails thread through the Green Mountain State, weaving wilderness, culture, and history into the state’s rich tapestry. This trip takes you on the Robert Frost Trail as you follow the wooded path the poet often walked and mountain paths that surround the villages of Goshen and Stowe."
