The Kinks (crawdaddy.com)

Legendary music-video veteran Julien Temple will be directing a feature length film about The Kinks. Whilst Kinks frontman Ray Davies has not yet disclosed whether the film will be a documentary or a biopic, Temple told The Generalist in 2007, that his next project was a documentary called ‘Kinkdom Come’.

Despite the film and other recent collaborations between band members, there is no certainty that The Kinks will ever officially reunite. However Davies recently told The Independent, “I gotta tell you — I miss the Kinks.” Watch this space.
