Snake and Kojima, we salute thee.
Today, we gather to celebrate the one year anniversary of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Hideo Kojima’s flagship PS3 title, Metal Gear Solid 4 took gamers breathes away. Consisting of beautiful graphics, compelling story, and memorable levels, Metal Gear Solid 4 will be remembered as a true classic in the gaming realm. Reaching a plateau of atmosphere and heart, Metal Gear Solid 4 brought fans to tears with the emotional ending. Though this game was our final farewell to Snake to some extent, it’ll forever stay have a place in our hearts. Snake, Liquid, Ocelot, Big Boss, Raiden, Otocon, Meryl, and the rest of the great cast, today is for you.
 
Hideo Kojima, you gave us one of the greatest experiences ever to grace a console. Thank you for the memories and memorable experience you bestowed upon us. I’m sure Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will be a great title for us, too. Until then, every PS3 owner should boot up their PS3 and play Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots one more time. It’s time to relive those memories from a year ago as you conquered one of the best games of all-time and this generation.
