Sony: Uncharted 2 has sold over 1 million copies

With NPD figures expected to be released in several hours, the expected top game for October is Uncharted 2: Among Thieves for the PlayStation 3. Making a minor announcement prior to the NPD report, Sony has stated that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has sold over 1 million copies since launch. No specific region was specified in the total, so it's likely to assume the number is for worldwide sales.
Currently, analyst are predicting Uncharted 2: Among Thieves to post around 600,000 units in North America in the month of October. With a confirmed 1 million units sold, the 600,000 figure for North America is very likely.
