Michael Jackson's memorial service is to be held at L.A.'s Staples Center.
The memorial service for Michael Jackson will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at L.A.'s Staples Center, according to the ABC news website. It is speculated that Michael Jackson's memorial service could be the most attended in U.S history.
In order to attend Michael Jackson's memorial service at L.A.'s Staples Center, you must register for a ticket. The ticket is free of charge, the only catch is that there are only 17,500 available. 11,000 of the tickets are for services at the Staples Center. 8,500 tickets will go to the fans of Michael Jackson, 2,500 will go to family and friends. The remaining 6,500 tickets are for seats at Nokia Theater, where the service will be broadcast.
If you would like a chance for a ticket to Michael Jackson's memorial service at the Staples Center, you must register at Staplescenter.com. The dead line for registering is set for 6:00 p.m. July 4, 2009. After the dead line, names will be drawn randomly, with each person receiving two tickets. Notification of those who will receive tickets will be on Sunday, July 5, 2009, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Instructions on how to get your tickets will be included in the notification.
You must have a ticket to attend the memorial service at the Staples Center. If you do not have a ticket, you will not be allowed inside nor will you be allowed in the immediate area. It would be in your best interest to stay home and watch Jackson's memorial service on your television.
Michael Jackson's memorial service at L.A.'s Staples Center is being offered to all television networks for free, so it is safe to say that the service will be televised.
