Malik Nadal Hasan the Fort Hood shooter

It has been reported that Malik Nadal Hasan was dead. But in fact, the Fort Hood shooter, Malik Nadal Hasan is still alive.

In a breaking news report on ABC News, it was reported that, "Lt. Gen. Robert W. Cone told a late night news conference that Malik Nadal Hasan was wounded and in custody. Cone would not say what Hasan's medical condition was, but said the suspect was not in danger of dying."

Malik Nadal Hasan was shot numerous times and during the shoot out an officer was also wounded, before shooting Hasan and taking him into custody. The officer survived as well.

The death total has now reached 12 and the wounded dropped 30, following Malik Nadal Hasan's shooting spree.

A press conference has been scheduled for tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. Central, to give updates on new developments in the Fort Hood shootings.
