Season 2 - Episode 14
Archeologists unearth a prehistoric cavern, where an old immortal guards and evil artifact of an ancient, extinct species. The crystal artifact possesses whomever grasps the ancient device that holds the souls of the defeated serpentine species. As the artifact becomes the ongoing property of scientist to the military and ultimately the Justice League, the Flash ends up being the hero to avert the erasure of humankind.

"Eclipsed:" was a two-part episode that moved at a fast-pace, but the scenes were selectively chosen to not leave holes in the story. Plenty of character development provided an episode that escalated its story with comedic and surprising "Oh no!" factors. Part 2 has the most dynamic scenes for "Eclipsed", and has the same elements found in Part 1. Tracy Walters ("Conan the Destroyer", "City Slickers") guest stars as Mophir, the older guardian.
