Season 2 - Episode 25
Replete with treason, a competitive triangle love affair and a global incursion by humanoid invaders hints at few reasons why this hard-hitting saga from "Justice League" claims this list's crown. Composed of three continuous episodes, "Starcrossed" has a stand-alone feature from the rest of the animated series' collection. Missing a scene takes away from comprehending the entire sequence of unfolding events. For an animated program, these episodes are good enough to force a rewind.

Even though every episode has the obligatory action that is far from pointless to the rest of story and possesses an outcome to the fate of the characters as well as the defended planet, Part 3s summation episode winds down to an incredible story's end. The premises of Part 1 and 2 are not forgotten and brought to the tier of grand finale with credible story structure.

Return to original list.
