Dr. Wilda V. Heard, or "Dr. Wilda," has a J.D. from Yale Law School and a doctorate in education leadership from Seattle University. She is a volunteer at Legal Voice, formerly the Northwest Women's Law Center. Dr. Wilda writes about schools, education reform, and the effect the culture has on education, children, and families. Her comments are of three types: opinion (these comments reflect her opinion on a subject), commentary (her assessment of another’s opinion or comment), and pot stirrer (these comments are written to arouse passion in the reader and to provoke discussion).
